We had a great value for our money at this home stay. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the views from the terrace were stunning. The location was perfect, offering a tranquil experience away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff at Vatsalyam Home Stay treated us like family, providing excellent service and making us feel welcomed throughout our stay.
The breakfast experience could have been improved by reducing the sweetness of the coffee.

The entire family takes care of you during the stay. They plan the trip, arrange rides, suggest places to see, provide authentic family food, create a family atmosphere. Best place we've ever stayed, highly recommend. Absolute delight. Beautiful view, excellent facilities, amazing family. Got lost and they came to find us. Father loves conversations. Excellent customer service. Cleanliness and comfort rival 5-star hotels. Gives a lasting relationship feel, truly makes you feel at home. Delicious food. Knowledgeable hosts. Wonderful service. Comfortable room with amenities. Lovely view from verandah. Perfect gentleman. Couldn't ask for more.

The views from our rooms were straight fire, overlooking the hillsides and the ridge on the other side. The sunset vibes were on point. The Sharda fam was mad cool, always making sure we were well-fed with their amazing home-cooked food. We even got to have dope convos with Asheesh's dad, learning about Indian life. If we ever come back to Shimla, Vatsalyam will be our squad's spot for sure!
The only thing we would've asked for is a bit more turn-up options for young party-goers like us. We were craving some nearby places to chill and have fun with our friends.

Mr Ashish, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our family had a memorable experience. The delicious home-cooked meals, especially the local delicacy Mahani, were a highlight. The spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and stunning balcony views made us feel right at home. The extra touches like tea and coffee throughout the day and access to a mini library added to the overall charm. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this homestay to families visiting Shimla.
My wife says that the only thing she wished for was a small play area for children.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning and the facilities provided were excellent, especially the cleanliness of the rooms. the family that runs the hotel was incredibly kind and welcoming, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One particular advantage was that they offered a variety of delicious meals, both for breakfast and dinner.
The taxi service arranged by the hotel was a major letdown. the driver, Vikram, was extremely unprofessional and dishonest.
